The architectural-artistic compositions developed within the scope of the Tbilisi City Hall's competition were displayed in the Children's Picture Gallery named after Elene Akhvlediani.
The competition announced by the capital's city hall to create sketches for several busts and memorials ended on March 1. Acceptance of competing proposals was intended to create sketches of Grigol Robakidze and Dimitri Kifiani's busts, as well as Zviad Gamsakhurdia's memorial and the busts/memorial of Giuli Shartava and Guram Gabeskiria.
Tbilisi Architects and Sculptors Association was involved in the organisation of the Tbilisi City Hall-announced competition exhibition. The exhibition was preceded by a private meeting with the artists held by the association in the form of a discussion. The representatives of the association made recommendations to rectify the flaws of each proposal presented in the previous competition, which are included in the works exhibited at this same exhibition.
