The Search for God and the Meaning of the Human Being

On June 13, 2025, a public lecture by theologian Levan Abashidze was held at the Chubinashvili National Research Centre for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation.The event was organized within the framework of the project 'Ghani', initiated by the Tbilisi Association of Architects and Sculptors. The central theme of the project is: 'Love – the Path to Deification.'
The lecture explored key aspects of the Christian worldview: the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and Orthodox theology of God; the fallen state of the world; divine love and love of neighbor as the path toward deification; the nature of sin and the purpose of salvation.
The lecture concluded with a discussion, during which attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the theological depth of the topic.
