On October 4, 2023, the Tbilisi Architects and Sculptors Association organized the opening of the international exhibition 'Urban Expression – In the Creativity of Student Sculptors' at the Merab Berdzenishvili International Cultural Center 'Muza.'
The exhibition ran until October 6 and featured the participation of student sculptors from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition showcased sculptural sketches designed for urban spaces, created as part of Sculpture Festival-2023. These works were selected through a competition evaluated by an international jury, which identified four winners among them.
The exhibition provided an important platform for students, allowing them to present their creative ideas and share their artistic vision of the modern urban environment with visitors. As part of the event, participants received commemorative awards and diplomas in recognition of their achievements.
The international exhibition 'Urban Expression – In the Creativity of Student Sculptors' was a key event of the second stage of Sculpture Festival-2023.
The Sculpture Festival-2023 was financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth of Georgia. The festival’s sponsor was 'Socar,' while the Georgian Public Broadcaster served as its media partner.
