Future Sculptor

10-17 June, 2024

The Future Sculptor exhibition, held from June 10 to 17, 2024, was a significant event celebrating the artistic talents of young sculptors. Organized at the Merab Berdzenishvili International Cultural Center "Muza," the exhibition commemorated the 95th anniversary of the renowned Georgian sculptor Merab Berdzenishvili. It showcased over 100 sculptural works created by school-age children and teenagers from across Georgia, offering a glimpse into the artistic visions of the next generation.

The exhibition featured a diverse array of works, including three-dimensional sculptures, reliefs, and other forms of artistic expression. The pieces were selected through an electronic competition, highlighting the creativity, originality, and varied styles of the young participants. The wide range of themes and techniques added richness to the exhibition, providing inspiration for aspiring artists and a rewarding experience for visitors. Each participant received a commemorative diploma in recognition of their artistic contributions.

The Future Sculptor exhibition also served as the opening event of the 2024 Sculpture Festival, which continued with a variety of programs aimed at supporting both emerging and professional sculptors. The festival's mission was to foster creativity and encourage artistic exchange within the sculptural community.
